Pilot SEEM 16-1000ST "Al Mahroussa", "Mazeghanna", "Al Bahdja"

Alger Ports Authority is going to take delivery of three pilot boats.
This delivery is part of a construction program of a five pilot boats at Merré Shipyard.
From design to commissioning and sea trials, this construction project has been managed within Merré shipyard teams.
The three pilot boats are built in steel material with an aluminium superstructure, which give a very light boat who is able to reach a high speed of 20 knots and more.
Al Mahroussa, Mazeghanna, Al Bahdja will be going straight to work in the Mediterranean Sea.

Classed by Bureau Veritas, excellent seakeeping behavior and pilot safety were the main design parameters incorporated in the vessel, ideal for coastal and harbour work.
With a length of 16,00 m, it is a powerful vessel with Volvo D13 or Caterpillar C12 main engines as chosen by the Owner, which enables the vessel to achieve speeds of 20 knots. She can comfortably accommodate a crew of ten.
