Bac 24 launching

SEEM-40-1140ST double-end ferry has been launched in Saint nazaire.

The last state of art Bac 24 double-end ferry construction has been done in Nort-sur-Erdre Merré Shipyard and in Saint Nazaire.
This ship has been designed by Ship-St design office.

The steel hull construction has been done in Saint-Nazaire while the two ramps and the superstructure have been done at Merré Shipyard.

Available in 2020, this is a double-end ferry built by Merré Shipyard on behalf of Conseil Départemental de Seine Maritime. She will link between Quillebeuf and Port Jerome.

With a capacity of 145 passengers and 27 light vehicles, the double-end ferry will have a total length of 66 m and a maximum draft of 1,35 m. She is powered by 4 Schottel jet pumps driven by 4 Cummins QSL9 engines.
