"Ville de Genève" launching ceremony

CGN company (Compagnie Générale de Navigation on Lake Geneva) is deploying "Ville de Genève" passenger ship back into service at the beginning of July 2014 after several months of renovation and transformation.
Merré shipyard has built a completely new glazed superstructure for this ship, with wheelhouse and passenger lounges contributing to a very significant increase in the number of passengers, as well as their comfort.
The aluminum superstructure (L = 35 m x l = 8 m) was assembled, painted, glazed and glazed at the Nort-sur-Erdre site, then shiped in four parts to Lausanne to be assembled on "Ville de Genève" passenger ship.
