Multiservice barge SEEM 14-1200ST construction has started recently at Merré shipyard.
Available in 2018, it is a multipurpose vessel built by Merré shipyard for the Services Industriels de Genève based in Switzerland.
The 14 m multipurpose vessel is propelled by two jets and designed to carry out the following works :
- Dredger positionning on shallow waters and high stream areas,
- Moving the dredger piping,
- Maintenance works and equipments transport,
- Pushing barges up to 330 tons.
This vessel is optimized and designed for a navigation on the Rhone river on shallow waters and high stream areas.
She is designed for easy use by two crew members.
A cutter suction dredger will be propelled by the multipurpose vessel who are intended to be operated on the Rhone river near Geneva.
Merré shipyard has relied on several decades of experience in the construction of dredgers, pontoons, seagoing ships and river vessel in order to propose two tailor-made vessels to meet the specific needs of the Owner.
