A new multiservice barge under construction

Merré Shipyard was very recently notified by the Le Havre Port Authorities, the construction of « MultiSEEM 20-09 », a latest generation multiservice barge that will ensure cleanup, dredging, lifting, and towing acitivities.
This new success for the shipyard has resulted in the excellence of the know-how of its personnel in the segment of workboat and more particularly « multiservice barge ».
In addition of Richelieu multiservice barge in Switzerland, the shipyard has designed and built "Oued Mekerra" multiservice barge, delivered in 2017 to the Arzew Port Authorities.
The « MultiSEEM 20-09 » is an overall length of 20 m and 9 m width, may be operated by 10 crew members, and is fitted with two cranes, two generator sets, a towing hook, several wnches, and a dredging equipment.
The hull and superstructure are made of steel, the insured set of reinforced protection for the fairing periods.
The « MultiSEEM 20-09 » is powered by two diesel engine of 375 kW each, for a total power of 750 KW for the vessel.
After the tests conducted in Saint-Nazaire, the « MultiSEEM 20-09 » will be shipped to its site in Le Havre. The reception is scheduled for Mid-2020.
