Multiservice barge SEEM 20-1000ST « Benthos » launching

The industrial infrastructure of Merré Shipyard and the dimensions of the ship required an architecture of design and construction to realize the ship in several blocks : two half-hulls and a superstructure.
The three steel blocks for the multi-service barge SEEM 20-1000ST has been done in Saint Nazaire where the ship is launched.
The MultiSEEM 20-09 is a vessel with an overall length of 20 m and a width of 9 m, operated by a crew of 10 people, equipped with two handling cranes, two generator sets, a tow hook, several winches, a leveling bar, and a pollution control system. It therefore offers great versatility for carrying out multiple port works.
Classified Bureau Veritas, excellent versatility of the ship and the safety of operators on deck are the main design parameters incorporated into the ship by the Design Office of the Merré Shipyard.
After tests conducted in Saint-Nazaire, the MultiSEEM 20-09 will sail to its operating site in Le Havre for delivery.
